About Building Services

Building Services is responsible for reviewing, issuing, and managing building permits through means of inspection and other necessary measures. Staff administers International Building and Residential Code adopted per ordinance and provides technical construction expertise.

• Standard Plates: Pre-drawn templates designed to simplify permit applications for most common permits. These forms include fillable sections to ensure all required information is provided, reducing delays in the permit approval process. Each individual plate will coincide with different permits. 
• Building Resource Handouts: Comprehensive packets outlining the criteria and steps necessary to successfully complete your building project. These handouts help ensure your project meets all required standards and guidelines.

Online Permit Portal

Apply and submit an application online for a building, fence, sign, antenna, reroofing, pool, demolition, or moving permits online at OpenGov.

Renew or apply for an annual Contractor's License online.
