Message From the City Manager

I am honored to serve as the City Manager for Watertown, SD. More than 20 years ago, my family and I made the choice to build our lives here, and that decision has shaped my career and the opportunities we have enjoyed. Now I have the privilege to put my energy and experience into making sure those opportunities are available to others.

Watertown is home to a talented and dedicated workforce. With over 245 full-time staff members at the City of Watertown—who want to call our community home—we have a team that shows up every day to give their very best, often under challenging circumstances. Supporting this team is one of my highest priorities, and I believe that by working together, we can continue to strengthen the quality of life for those who call Watertown home.

This position is not a stepping stone for me. It is the capstone of my career, and I am fully committed to this community for the long-term. Watertown is a special place, and I am proud to call it home.
