WATERTOWN “ARE YOU OK?” CAMPAIGN

Starting today, the Watertown Police Department is proud to launch our “Are You OK?” awareness campaign. A citywide initiative focused on mental health and wellness, beginning with our city employees and expanding throughout Watertown and the surrounding communities.

This campaign serves as a reminder that we all have mental health every day, all day, and how we care for it impacts how we show up at work, with our families, and for ourselves. Prioritizing both individual and community wellness is essential to building a strong, resilient Watertown.

As part of this initiative, we’ll be providing QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training to our staff, empowering us to not only support others but also take care of ourselves.

Sometimes, all it takes is starting the conversation.

With three simple words, “Are you OK?” you can change someone’s life.

If you see our new logo around town, take a moment to ask yourself, and those around you, “Are you OK?” Then, truly listen to the response. If someone needs help or you’re not sure where to turn, please reach out to us at the Watertown Police Department or call 988 for immediate support.

Its OK to not be OK, just don’t stay that way.
