At 9:50 p.m. on November 5, 2025, WFR responded to a motorcycle accident on a rural gravel road with one person involved.
WFR crews responded immediately. Upon arrival, personnel initiated advanced life support care and stabilized the rider, who had life-threatening injuries. Crews promptly loaded the patient into the ambulance, and WFR Paramedics continued Advanced Life Support treatment. The team transported the patient to Prairie Lakes Hospital Emergency Department. Codington County Sheriff deputies and the South Dakota Highway Patrol assisted Watertown Fire Rescue on the scene.
