In order to provide library materials to residents of Watertown who cannot use the main facility because of a disability, Watertown Regional Library will make materials available through selection and delivery to Special Services patrons. Unless authorized by the Library Director, all loan periods, fines, and fees for lost or damaged items remain the same. Criteria for home delivery of library materials:
- Patron must be a person with a disability who is prevented from visiting the library and/or carrying material out of the library. The condition need not be long term.
- The patron must request the service.
- The patron must live within the city limits of Watertown.
The library staff in conjunction with the Library Director will determine if the library will provide home delivery on an individual basis. Exceptions to the policy will be determined by the Library Director.
Patrons with a qualifying disability may use the South Dakota Accessible Library Services talking book depository at Watertown Regional Library. Audio material and equipment are provided free of charge.
