The Watertown Area Shooting Complex, located at 1648 20th Ave SE, is an outdoor facility open to the public for recreational shooting. Managed by the City of Watertown, the range is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for firearm enthusiasts. The complex allows the use of center-fire and rim-fire rifles and handguns, muzzleloaders, and air guns. Shotguns are not permitted unless using buckshot.
The complex is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from May through September and during daylight hours from October through April. Safety is a top priority, with rules in place to ensure a secure environment, including restrictions on certain ammunition types and prohibited activities like night shooting or the use of incendiary targets.
